FAQ’s

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a drug-free, non-invasive manual therapy that aims to improve health across all body systems by manipulating and strengthening the musculoskeletal framework. We also offer Dry Needling as a service for pain relief.  Visit our ‘what we treat page’ to read up on some of the things we can treat!

Why are we Different?

Our service. We won’t ask you back if you’re fixed. At Oomph Osteopathy we endeavour to find the cause of your discomfort and establish a plan to bring you back to good health. We pride ourselves on our personal and individualised approach to each and every patient. No two treatments will be the same, and we work with you to establish a plan to restore the Oomph back in your life. Read some of our testimonials here.

How much does it cost?

To learn more about our pricing and appointments, head to our ‘Online booking’ page. Information about HICAPS and health funds is found there to.

Does Medicare provide a rebate?

Osteopathy is not covered by medicare unless you have a chronic disease management plan. However, this requires a referral from your GP. A chronic disease management plan is issued by a General Practitioner and allows patients up to 5 visits over a 12 months period with an Osteopath at a subsidised rate. To receive the rebate you must first pay the standard consultation fee, then the medicare rebate will be processed and deposited into your chosen bank account.

What do we do?
